-1/3m - 7 = 5

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

so u are looking for m?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can not draw it because I'm on a iPad

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

m=-36

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Add 12 to each side, which will give you -1/3m=12 then you divide 12 by -1/3 which gives you -36

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 more thing guys

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

first isolate the m by moving -7 over to 5. Which the -7 equals to +7. Then add the sum of the constants. After that you get -1/3=12. Finally you multiply by negative 6 to make the coeffiecent alone. so m=-36

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

boom!! like a boss

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-x/4 - 6 > -8

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

x<8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is not an option

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

first you move the -6 to the other side of the equation which changed to 6. Which leaves -x/4>-2. Then isolate the coefficent by multiplying by -4 to both sides of the equation and boomm x,8

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

really?

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

must be x>8 some how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. X < -4. B. x £ 8 C. X > 8 D. X 3 -8

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

but im pretty sure that x<8 is correct

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

if not let the other 2 people answer the question

OpenStudy (help!!!!):

must be c somehow
