How would I word/phrase my work?

Here's the problem:
A wireless phone company charges a monthly fee of $8.95 and a cost per minute of use. One customer was charged $20.35 for 95 minutes. How much will another customer pay for 243 minutes?

Here's my work:
$20.35=95x + $8.95
- 8.95 - 8.95
11.40 = 95x
(divide both sides by 95)
.12 = x
THEN
Y= 243(.12) + 8.95
Y= 29.16 + 8.95
Y= 38.11

Answer is $38.11
