I don't know what the best option is here:
What is the advantage of hermaphrodite relationships?
A. They decrease the mortality rate of offspring.
B. They increase the mortality rate of offspring.
C. They increase reproduction when sexual encounters are seldom.
D. Different species can interact sexually.
E. They produce less offspring.

I know they produce more offspring because they can fertilize each other and produce basically twice as many offspring as two organisms who aren't hermaphrodites. I don't get the weird wording of C and A seems like the only other reasonable option.
