The weight of an object on the moon varies directly as its weight on the earth. A person who weighs 95kg on earth weighs 15.2kg on the moon. How much would a 105kg person weigh on the moon?

ok so first of all weigh is in Newtons , that is what actually varies between here and the moon NOT THE MASS, MASS IS CONSTANT NO MATTER WHERE IT IS!!!!! MASS IS IN KG :D so its a man on earth weighs 95*9.81 N on earth but 95*1.6 N on the moon so now that you know the ratio is 9.81 to 1.6 u can deduce that a man with mass 105 kg will weigh 105*9.81 N on earth and 105*1.6N on the moon :)
