Create a set of numbers and call the set N. Describe a subset of N and explain why it is a subset of N. I've done the first part of the problem: N= {1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10} And subset N= {Odd numbers between 1 and 10} I'm just not sure how to explain why it's a subset of N.

Set A is a subset of set B if every element of A is in B. Name the subset a letter other than N, since N is already being used for your original set. Call the subset S, for example. Every element of S = {3,5,7,9} is an elemnt of N, so S is a subset of N. (Notice that when you state odd numberes between 1 and 10, the 1 is left out.)
