Did you just post two different problems? I don't advise doing that. Just post one problem at a time. Delete the other one.

better? and will I have to draw that other one again?

hero (hero):

If you have a quadrilateral, and one set of opposite sides are parallel, then you have a parallelogram. This means that opposite sides are equal. Thus, 3x + 5 = 5x - 1. Solve for x.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So a parallelogram is a type of quadrilateral? And to solve for x would to be to 3x+5=5x-1 so 3=x

hero (hero):

1. Yes 2. Correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!
