Michelle rents a movie for a flat fee of $1.50 plus an additional $1.25 for each night she keeps the movie. If Michelle returned the movie and paid $4.00, how many nights did she keep the movie?

My answer is 3

So we set up the equation
4=1.5+1.25x
Then we solve.
2.5=1.25x
2=x
So it is 2 nights, not 3
