@jim_thompson5910 Find all the zeroes of the equation. x4 – 6x2 – 7x – 6 = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(+/- 6/1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its -6 , +6, and 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get that ?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you can use wolfram alpha to get http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=x^4-6*x^2-7*x-6%3D0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you use the last digit of the equation and the first digital of the equation to get this between the answer (+/-1,2,3,6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or use jim's way, but my way you have to test out with number ture, by pluging the number back to the equation
