1. Solve the compound inequality 30 < 10u < 120. (1 point) 3 < u < 4 3 > u > 12 3 > u > 4 3 < u < 12 2. Solve the compound inequality 9 + 3n 3 or 5n < 30. (1 point) n −2 or n < 6 n −2 or n < 6 n −5 or n > 6 n −5 or n > 6 3. Solve the compound inequality 6b < 24 or 4b + 12 > 4. (1 point) b < 4 or b > −2 b < 4 or b > 4 b < 4 or b > 2 b > 4 or b < −2
I need help on how to do this
Lol. Is that a test?
1. 30 < 10u < 120 Just divide all sections by 10 to get the answer of: 3 < u < 12 2. Is that missing an '=' sign, supposed to be 9 + 3n = 3 or 5n < 30? If so 3n=-6 so n=-2 and divide both sides by 5 to get n<6 n= -2 or n < 6 3. 6b < 24 or 4b + 12 > 4 divide the left one by 6 to get: b < 4 then the right: 4b > -8 divide by 4 to get b > -2 b < 4 or b > -2
Thank you. You explained this much better than the lesson
