OpenStudy (dls):

how to solve this root?

OpenStudy (dls):

\[\LARGE \frac{1}{\sqrt{1.8 \times 10^{-6}}} \]

OpenStudy (dls):

@hartnn

OpenStudy (dls):

root of 1.8 by approximate calculation corresponds to 1.35

hartnn (hartnn):

use calculator.

OpenStudy (dls):

im not allowed >.>

hartnn (hartnn):

how u got this ? root of 1.8 by approximate calculation corresponds to 1.35

OpenStudy (dls):

rough mathematics :P 1*1=1 1.2*1.2=1.44 1.3*1.3=1.69 1.4*1.4=1.96 but we need 1.8 so it must lie between 1.3*1.4 so take it as 1.35 (u can check via calculator too thats correct) thats just my way of doing pellet calculations because every second in IIT exam will be worth so i just have to make approx calculations

OpenStudy (dls):

i cant solve for 10^-6

hartnn (hartnn):

sqrt (10^(-6)) = 10^(-6)^(1/2) = 10^-3 1/10^-3 = 10^3

OpenStudy (dls):

so 1000/1.35? :O

hartnn (hartnn):

yup.

OpenStudy (dls):

amazing thanks o.o why didnt i notice that x(

hartnn (hartnn):

ask yourself.... welcome :)
