The answer is 4; the amplitude is the height of one wave

The lowest point is y = -4 The highest point is y = 4 Subtract these two to get 4-(-4) = 8 Then divided by 2 to get 8/2 = 4 So the amplitude is 4. This is basically the distance from the center to either the peak or the valley of the sine curve
