Which of the following is an accurate statement about the Chinese Civil War? Even though the Nationalists had a superior military strategy, they still lost to the Communists. Even though the Communists had a smaller army, they still defeated the Nationalists. The Communists defeated the Nationalists because they were supported by North Korea and Vietnam. Nationalists lost because Communists convinced many rural Chinese to revolt against the Nationalists.

I feel comfortable picking the last one, that the Nationalists lost because Communists convinced many rural Chinese to revolt against the Nationalists. But the second option is also sort of true -- the Communists were heavily outnumbered by the Nationalists, but at the very end, it was the Communists who ended up with the larger army. The Communists continued to build on that swell of popular support because they promised to take land away from the landowners and give them back to the people. That proved to be a popular stance and their army grew. At the same time, the KMT began shrinking especially after the US began drawing down support (the KMT were heavily corrupt) and soon the Communists outnumbered.

Mainland China is controlled by the Communists whereas Taiwan is controlled by Socialists Nationalists the Gang of Four Japan I also have this one and i think its the first one. would u kno?

There is some socialism today in Taiwan, but it's probably more accurate to say that it's controlled by the Nationalists. After their defeat, the Nationalists fled mainland China and ended up in Taiwan. That's also why Taiwan is still a sore point with China today.
