Do you know what a suppelementary angle is?

@bcbabe6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7. Complementary angles = Sum of angles equal to 90 degrees 2x + 4x = 90 6x = 90 x = 90/6 = 15 So the 2 angles are: 2x = 2*15 = 30 degrees 4x = 4*15 = 60 degrees 6. Supplementary angles = Sum of angles equal to 180 degrees. 14x + (8x + 4) = 180 22x + 4 = 180 22x = 180 - 4 22x = 176 x = 176/22 = 8 So the 2 angles are: 14x = 14*8 = 112 degrees 8x + 4 = 8*8 + 4 = 64 + 4 = 68 degrees 8. Measure of angle DBC = 102 - 52 = 50 degrees So, angle DBC = 50 degrees.

@Fall12-13 : Good, but next time please don't give answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Dido525 You tried to explain it to her step by step, which didn't work out. I just solved it in a manner she would understand; nothing wrong with that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But in the terms and conditions we are trying to help her learn, not give her the answer. But regardless don't worry about it :P .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't really care. Write 10-12 statements and waste your time on a single question HOPING that the other person understands or just write 1 answer with everything. The second option is more time-saving and hassle free; who wants to waste their time for just a single medal anyways? xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I remember spending 3 hours one time helping someone understand a concept :p . I don't care about medals. I like that I help people understand more :P .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Dido525 I'm not that generous :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Fair enough hehe...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well sometimes, people are too lazy to learn XD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Normally I wouldn't mind giving answers but the way I see it is that they won't do good on the exam if they don't understand the concept. @Fall12-13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Dido525 What if they are not interested at learning from you? xD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hehe...
