What was the effect of WW1 on the American Economy. Was the labor surplus bad?
Some Websites say that it was prosperous while others say it was a mini depression.

I can understand that. Too many workers results in unemployment but we did make a lot of money selling ammunition and stuff. My problem is my class is asking this: Which phrase describes the American economy immediately after World War I? slow but steady sharp but brief recession decade-long depression period of unprecedented boom and none of those answers fit.
There seems to be a brief boom and a decade long recession.
