Summarize the difference between mitosis in plants and animals

Cytokenisis occurs differently in plant cells than it does in animal cells. In animal cells the cells begin to furrow while plant cells undergo cell plant formation. The reason for this is because, the plant cells walls are too rigid to bend and pinch off in the middle like an animal cell would (furrowing). Animal cells also has centrioles, these pull the chromosomes to opposite sides of the cell, plant cells do not have these.
