Solve -3x + 1 > 4 and describe the graph of the solution Ive been working on this for hours please help !

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

-3x + 1 > 4 -3x + 1-1 > 4-1 .. Subtract 1 from both sides. -3x > 3 (-3x)/(-3) < 3/(-3) ... Divide both sides by -3. This will flip the inequality sign x < -1
