What was one long-term effect of the work of the Civilian Conservation Corps? Many workers went on to become important natural scientists. New forests and improved lands flourished around the nation. Hundreds of miles of new highways crisscrossed the country. Public buildings and infrastructure helped rural areas grow.
I think it would be the second one.
What is your reasoning if I may ask?
Lol. I just learned a lot about the CCC. I know for a fact that the first one is incorrect, because many of the people ended up going back to their homes. Most of the work the CCC did had to do with the environment. However, the workers did build buildings and bridges. There is a possibility that it may be the third of fourth ones.
B was correct, I took the test and got it right :)
