Can someone please help? Explain how plant and animal cells differ in the process of obtaining energy.

Ive only taken one bio class but basically: animal cells use cellular respiration and ATP synthesis as a fuel..... Plant cells use both cellular respiration and photosynthesis. The suns energy is used to break down carbon dioxide and through electron transfer processes build sugars (glucose.) At night plant cells behave like animal cells.
