How would I simplify 125^2/3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually itwould be 125^-2/3 srry.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

125^-2/3 is the same as 1/( 125^2/3 ) and that's the same as 1/( cube root of (125) )^2 which turns into 1/(5^2) I'll let you finish

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got to where the equation becomes 3^(sqrt 125)^2 but I'm not sure how to go from there.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you take the cube root of 125 to get 5

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

then you square it the answer will be 1 over that result

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh so it's 1/25?

Can I ask you to explain one more thing plz?
