The blades of a helicopter meet at right angles and are all the same length. The distance between the tips of the two consecutive blades is 36 feet. How long is each blade on feet?

well the properties of a 45-45-90 triangle mean that the distance is equal to x times the square root of 2 which is 1.41421 and goes on forever. So 36/1.41421= 25.4558 ft - the length of your blades.
