find 10 1/2% of 60

OpenStudy (anonymous):

60/100 = 1% 1% = 0.6 You should be able to work out 10.5% from this :) If not say so and I'll explain further

OpenStudy (anonymous):

explain futher

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okey; well do you understand how I got 1%? =)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (anonymous):

explain please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100% = 60 1% = x Cross multiply 100x = 60 x = 60/100 x = 0.6 <--- Now you put this back into (1% = x) You now have 1% = 0.6 Now if 1 apple = $2 10 apples = (£2 x 10) 10 apples = $20 The same goes here 1% = 0.6 10.5% = (0.6 x 10.5) 10.5% = (You should be able to work it out now) =)
