B. (4, -3)
C. (-4, -3)
D. (-4, 3)

Mid-Point of points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is ( (x1+x2)/2 ,(y1+y2)/2 )
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Does it help?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
which one is x and which one is y?

or does it matter?

x1 =0 , x2=-8 , y1 =-6 and y2=0
Now, use Mid-Point of points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is ( (x1+x2)/2 ,(y1+y2)/2 )
OpenStudy (anonymous):
(-8)/2 = -4 (-6)/2 = -3
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so it'd be (-4,-3) ?

here, let the coordinates of other end point be (x1 ,y1)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So, (x1+7)/2 =-1 AND (y1+3)/2 =-3
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Now, can u find x1 and y1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
x1= -9?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yep
