Several biogeochemical processes that regulate the removal of nutrients in wetlands are effected by tempature, which influences the overall treatment efficiency.

OK, lets go!! fish in particular survive best at certain temperatures, each possesses a different tolerance ranges, therefore with a change of temperature in the Niagara river, arises new problems and they are face with biotic and abiotic stress !!!!. This can cause them to die, migrate off to a new habitat, cause adaptation ( sometimes form subspecies), cause competition, cause diseases and decrease their population size! your welcome!
