i got the 3rd choice

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

let x = length of small tank, y = length of large tank if the ratio of the sides is x:y or x/y then the ratio of the volumes is x^3:y^3 or (x^3)/(y^3) which turns into (x/y)^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be (2/4)^3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jim_thompson5910 would that be right?^

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yes you got it

ok thank you! :)
