@jim_thompson5910 can you help with this one please?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

do you know the volume of a cylinder formula?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it pi*r^2*h?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yep, so r = 5 and h = 14 V = pi*r^2*h V = pi*5^2*14 V = ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1099.55? thats what i keep getting

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

ignore the pi, just evaluate 5^2*14 and stick a "pi" on the end

OpenStudy (anonymous):

350 :)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yep, so that points to B) 350pi square inches

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks!
