i want to make a pyramid with sheets of plywood. the sides of the pyramid will be equilateral triangles with sides measuring 8ft. what is the LATERAL AREA of the pyramid? to the nearest ft^2 please HELP. im homeschooled and dnt have a teacher so i need your help to understand this :(

you'll need to find the perpendicular height of the triangles



the perpendicular bisects the base.

so you will need to use pythagoras' theorem to find the perpendicular height before finding the area of the triangles
