In class awe observed onion and leaf cells under q microscope, both contain mitochondria, but we didn't see any, how is this possible?

Did you add a dye emphasize the mitochondria, and what kind of microscope did you use? electron or light?

frostbite is correct did you use die if so it is most likely that you couldent see it because of that.
