Academic aptitude test scores are MOST likely to predict accurately the academic success of ________ students.

Elementary school students. Although I'm not sure why that is. I think it's because academic aptitude tests don't require formal operational skills. We don't develop formal operational skills until we're around 12 years old. That's middle school age, and not elementary. Formal operational skills are skills that help us solve complicated problems, where we need to "think outside the box." One example is learning how to set up experiments, in order to answer questions, using the scientific method. That sort of job requires formal operational skills.
