Look at triangle KLM. Segment ME is 21 inches. Which of these could be the dimensions of the segments in the triangle? (3 points) ME = 21 inches, MO = 14 inches FK = 20 inches, KO = 10 inches GO = 10 inches, LO = 10 inches MO = 9 inches, EO = 3 inches

plxzzzzzz helppp i will best response and fann u

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

In a triangle, the point that is the intersection of all medians is called the centroid. The centroid divides every median into two segments with ratio of 2:1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

In this triangle, O is the centroid. So every median has been cut into two segments with ratio of lengths of 2:1.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u help with the question i dont get it though

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ots not asked brieflyyy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think the answer is c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because both sides are congruent with an equal amount of percantage to centroid

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Look at first choice, ME = 21 , MO = 14. O is the centroid so for median ME, the segments are MO and OE. They have to be in 2:1 ratio of lengths. With those given numbers, OE = 21 - 14 = 7. MO and OE must have a 2:1 ratio and 14 :7 is 2:1

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Second choice gives ratio of segments 1:1, so it doesn't work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so wait the first one works but the 3rd one does tew

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Third choice is again 1:1, so no good

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Fourth choice is ratio of 3:1, so also no good

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The only one that works is the first choice.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok now i get it thanksss

can u help me on justtt one last question
