yes it is, there is only one Y value for each X value

Remember that in a function, a given x value will have only one y value. Does that seem to be true for the list above? (I see that each x value is shown only once; there are no repeat x-values) Whaddya think?

however, if it was something like (1, 0), (1,3) it wouldnt be a function since the X value 1 has more than 1 Y value, 0 and 3 which means it wont be a funtion
