Carbohydrates are converted into ________ in the __________. and CO2 and H2O combines in the _________ to form_______.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 sugar 2... not to sure sorry 3/4 H2O + CO2 -----> H2CO3 ----> H+ + HCO3- carbonic acid The reaction is catalysed by an enzyme called carbonic anhydrase. After it has formed it separates (dissociates) into hydrogen ions (H+) and hydrogen carbonate ions (HCO3-).

OpenStudy (frostbite):

@urfaith Remember that carbohydrates is sugars... No I tend to believe they ask about cellular respiration and photo synthesis. The answer would then look like this: Carbohydrates are converted into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water in the mitochondria. (most of it) and CO2 and H2O combines in the chloroplast to form carbohydrates.
