simplify (x+3)(x-4)(x+5)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take this one step mat a time. FIrst distrubute the (x+3)(x-4) using foil and then multiply that buy the term (x+5) Try that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so whats (x^2-x-12) (x+5)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right, now distribute the x into the equation, and then finally distribute the 5. Now if the 5 were negitive the sign would come along with it but since it is just positive, you can distribute just that. Try.
