I need help...it says to write the function as a set of ordered of pairs. Give the domain and range of f. f(a)=r, f(b)=p,f(c)=s, f(d)=r.....answer is f=_________. The domain is ______. The range is________
I can venture a guess, but that's all.. What class is this for?
college Algebra
Sorry for the delay! Here's what I have to say. Whe you have f(a)=r, then the ordered pair is from a to r, so (a,r). The domain is what the function is given, a. The range is the group of numbers that you get from putting your domain numbers into the function. f(a) = r, so r is your range.
However... You have more than just a and r!
So you have a bunch of ordered pairs.. and you have a bunch of domain numbers, and a bunch of range numbers!
@tracyshuping Do you have a better idea of how to go on now?
