Please help! :) On a certain highway, the speed limit is 65 mph for all vehicles except for trucks, whose speed limit is 55 mph. Also, posted signs indicate 45 mph is the minimum speed for any vehicle. a. Write an inequality to indicate the speeds s at which it is legal for Yoko to drive her car on the highway. b. Graph the inequality from Part a.

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

I'm using <= as "less than or equal to", and >= as "greater than or equal to". Let x = speed For a car, it has to be at least 45: x >= 45 and it has to be at most 65: x <= 65 When you put these two together you have x >= 45 and x <= 65 or 45 <= x <= 65
