For a party, you can spend no more than $24 on nuts. Peanuts cost $2 per pound, cashews cost $4 per pound. What are the three possible combinations of peanuts and cashews that you can buy?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you help @RadEn

OpenStudy (raden):

2x+4y<=24, simplify gives x+2y<=12 by trials, the possible order pairs (x,y) are : (1,1),(1,2),(1,3),(1,4),(1,5),(2,1),....,(2,5),(4,4), etc... :)

So i just pick 3 as my answer?
