When solving systems of equations, how do you determine what method to use? solve the system and post your solution, showing your steps so that other students can see which method you chose. 2y = x + 1 –2x – y = 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When the system only has two variables you just substitute ex. y in terms of x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y=\frac{ x }{ 2 }+\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }\] \[-2x-(\frac{ x }{ 2 }+\frac{ 1 }{ 2 })=7\]
