Can anyone point me to material that covers different kind of debts and perhaps even an LBO model?
Currently we are dealing with a number of different types of debt. Thus we can replace debts to banks or loans, installment purchases, current arrears such as rent, electricity, gas, telephone charges, financial arrears to offices such as the tax office, private debts (against individuals), debts maintenance, debts associated with the unprofitability of the company (ie the losses it brings the company), the debts inheritance.
LBO model in my opinion - a calculation of costs with the calculator or another program, such as Excel. With this model, you are able to introduce: - The cost the company - Arrears terms of official - Interest expense - The costs to banks - Interest on tax arrears - General calculation of all costs, depending on the situation.
Thanks kati, i was thinking more in terms of corporate debt, Senior, Mezzanine, PIK, Syndicated etc and then looking to apply this to a LBO model. Ideally any material that deals with valuing and buying out a company using debt
I found good material about this. You can read. http://willembuiter.com/DoN2.pdf
