Can someone please, step by step, explain the decimal formula? The decibel formula I'm talking about is SOUND PRESSURE LEVEL : dB SPL = 20log(p2 / 2*10^-5) Please explain the parameters of the equation, and everything you can, step by step. Speak of the ORIGIN of the 20, why it's there, what relation it has with decibels. Thanks, and if you can, please cite your sources... Thanks a lot!! I have a project on this due on monday
