How do you simplify (7x-9y) - (-7y + 9x)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You want to remove the brackets. When you take out the second set of brackets, the signs inside change (7x-9y) - (-7y + 9x) 7x - 9y + 7y - 9x You add the matching ones together. 7x - 9x - 9y + 7y -2x - 2y

ok I got that but didn't know if you had to simplify it mre. Thank you

You wouldn't be able to simplify anymore because there aren't any other unknowns to add to, or anything else to do.
