what are some ways to factor equations besides the diamond way? And how do you use them and in what situations?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for all who are trying to help me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a generic equation would be y=ax^2+bx+c so another method would be to use the product sum rule. basicallly u take a and c values, and write in their products. if they cross multiply and add to b then its factorable. ill draw an example for u

OpenStudy (anonymous):

did that make sense or did u want more explanation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i understand, any other ways?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what grade/level math are you in?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im in modified. alg.2 kinda like alg.2 prep. class

OpenStudy (anonymous):

try the berry method. easier if you look it up, on youtube or something, i can send a link if you'd like.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks
