Find the value of x in the following rectangle. please how do i do this

5^2 + 12^2=(5x-4)^2
but if you know pythagorean triplets, you know the sides are 5,12,13 so 5x-4=13 so x=17/5 if you do it the long way you would probably use the quadratic formula
