sketch graphs of the following lines all on the same coordinate plane. y=3x+1, y=-3x -3 , y=-1/3 x + 1 , y= -1/3 x -3 2.identify the slope and y-intercept of each of the lines in problem 1. 3. identify lines in problem 1 that are parallel to each other. 4. identify lines in problem 1 that are perpendicular. (draw a graph) need help Q ~Q

OpenStudy (tamtoan):

for a line in the form of equation y = mx + b where m is your slope and b is the y intercept...ie...y intercept means when x = 0...and x intercept means when y = 0..there you can try to do some of your problems.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And when two lines parallel they will have the same slope m1=m2 -----------------perpendicular --------the produce of their slopes is -1: (m1)(m2)=-1
