OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it\[2^{2}+5*3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh no.. 2xsquared + 5x -3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does it need to be solved or is it set equal to something?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

factoring

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont understand any of this chapter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would be: (2x-1)(x+3). To check, just use the FOIL (First, Outside, Inside, Last) method which will give you 2x^2+6x-1x-3 or 2x^2+5x-3
