what is the solution of -4x+3y=-12 -2x+3y=-18? use a graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Solve for y on both equations, then graph both of them in a calculator, then find the point where these two graph meet, it will be your answer.

thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see on subtracting the above two equation (as coefficient of y is same) we have -2x=6 hence x=-3 putting x=-3 in any of the equation we have y=-8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=-3 and y=-8

thanks!:)
