what is the total of the 2 same side angles ? can you tell me ? is it 90 degree? 180 degree or 150 degree ?

you need to memorize these facts ...because it's a must :) ..the total of the 2 same side angles of 2 parallel lines is 180 degree ..now add the 2 angles and make it equal to 180...then solve for x ..see what you get.
