y=3x-1 y=-x+3 How do I put this into a graph problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you want to graph those?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes but I forgot how you start it of

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well its already in standard form which you should know is y = mx + b m = slop (rise/run) b = y intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=2x+4 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so for the first one, you have y = 3x - 1 m = 3 or 3/1 which is your slope, up 3 over 1 (rise/run) b = -1 which is your y intercept. so you go to the -1 on your y axis, and go up 3 over 1

connect te dots and make a line

okay thank you!
