if I had a grade to date of 52.40% and my final papper was worth 25% and I received 22% what grade would that give me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can someone assist me with the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You just add them together, don't you?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why not?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea so 22/25 + 52/75?

OpenStudy (goten77):

hmm i think he means he received 22% out of the possible 25 % on his final.. and hes wondering what he had to make on his final? not sure what hes asking now but if i did i could figure this out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think what he meant was he got 52.40/75 percent for his coursework or whatever and his finals which weighs 25%, he got 22% so whats his total

OpenStudy (goten77):

well ye 52.4% out of a possible 75% since the final was the other 25%.... but still his question is like ..........? if he wants a grade then its just 52.4 + 22.. .but it is worded weirdly

OpenStudy (anonymous):

LOL yea

OpenStudy (goten77):

its so simple... but written with like stuff its like we dont need and eh the grade would b a 74.4% average....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hi, sorry I left the board so soon. I did not think I was going to get an answer. What I was getting at was I currently had 52.40% of a possible 100%. If I recieved 22% increase I thought the same that I should get the 74.4%. Instead I received 61.30%. How is that possible?

OpenStudy (goten77):

i would seriously go question that because its as if u only got half of what u earned from 22% somewhat equal to 11.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is what I will do thanks for your help.
