Identify the impact of nature and nurture in your life and describe the interaction of those two factors in your own development and personality. In your essay please specially address how nature and nurture have impacted your interaction in a diverse/global society.

In the 1st paragraph you would describe what the nature and nurture debate is ie. The debate centers on the relative contributions of genetic inheritance and environmental factors to human development. Some philosophers such as Plato and Descartes suggested that certain things are inborn, or that they simply occur naturally regardless of environmental influences. Other well-known thinkers such as John Locke believed in what is known as tabula rasa, which suggests that the mind begins as a blank slate. According to this notion, everything that we are and all of our knowledge is determined by our experience.
In the 2nd, 3rd and maybe 4th (depending on how much you write) you are going to want to talk about your own development and personality. For example are you an all star pitcher for a baseball team? If so do you think it is because your dad is also a pitcher or was it because you spent countless summers at baseball clinics. You can also delve into whether you are outgoing or introverted and whether you feel like this is genetically based or how you were raised. As far as addressing the diverse/ global society you can talk about your heritage influences and how those affect your daily life or how you have learned to interact with various cultures at school or elsewhere. In the final paragraph you will want to sum it up. Reword what you wrote in the 1st paragraph but siting some very general examples. Good Luck!
