OpenStudy (anonymous):

when dividing by the highest power do you include the coefficent?

hartnn (hartnn):

can u be more specific ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like if i had fraction that was n/2n^2+5 and i needed to divide the entire equation by the highest power in the denomonator, would i include the 2 attached to it as well?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or just divide by n^2

hartnn (hartnn):

is that for finding limits with n tends to infinity ? if yes, then you have to divide by n^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is for determining convergence/divergence of sequences

hartnn (hartnn):

ohh...same case, just divide by n^2 only, not 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^
