What is the equation of the graph below? My answer is B y = -2(x - 3)2 + 1 y = -2(x + 3)2 + 1 y = 2(x - 3)2 + 1 y = 2(x + 3)2 + 1

hartnn (hartnn):

vertex here is (h,k)=(3,1) then equation should be of the form y=a(x-h)^2+k

My answers wrong?

Parth (parthkohli):

Yeah, there's a little mistake. But you should be able to spot it out :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = -2(x - 3)2 + 1

OpenStudy (radar):

I may be wrong, but I believe you need to review your solution to the closed question \[5x ^{2}+2x-8=0\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:/

Parth (parthkohli):

@radar: That's the quadratic form :)

OpenStudy (radar):

Yes it is, but the previously posted solution was incomplete. Please note this is on a previous question which is now closed.
